Power has been restored and school is in session today, November 14, 2025.

4:18 PM: We will continue to monitor the power outage situation throughout the night. Information regarding the school day on Friday, November 14, 2025, will be announced no later than 5:00 am. If power IS restored and stable, we will have a normal early-out school day. If power IS NOT restored and stable, school and activities will be cancelled. Thank you for your partnership and patience. The CCSD#1 website and app will have the most up-to-date information.
2:01 PM: All schools are currently without power, and phone service is intermittent. We expect power to fluctuate until school releases at its normal time.
Converse County School District is currently affected by the widespread electrical outage affecting Rocky Mountain Power customers. The current state of our schools is as follows:
High School: normal operations
Middle School: limited power, phones are not working
Upper Elementary: limited power, phones are working
Intermediate School: limited power, phones are not working
Primary School: normal operations
Central: normal operations
White: no power, phones are working
Shawnee: normal operations
Dry Creek: normal operations
Moss Agate: no power, phones are working
If you need to get a message to any school without working phones, please call 307-358-2942 instead. This will connect you to our main office at Central Administration, and we will relay the information.
Due to power surges, we may need to shut down power to the schools to protect equipment. At this time, school will dismiss as usual. We will provide updates as the situation changes.

Join us as we honor and celebrate our veterans for their service and sacrifice.
Let’s come together as a community to show our gratitude. We hope to see you there!

Parents and Guardians,
Thursday, October 22 was the official end of quarter 1. In high school, we do not store quarter grades. The only grades that truly matter for students are the semester grades which are placed on their transcripts and where credit is earned toward graduation. That said below is a snapshot of how your student is currently doing mid-way through 1st semester.
Please see the videos below from our CCSD1 technology department on how to access your student's quarter 1 progress report.
